happiness in new life

I scooped up some pictures with some devices even my camera's battery has died so I was unable to take nice their pictures as I wanted. Decide to report here how were their ceremony and party.

My brave friend Aya and Keith got married by Buddhist rite on July 29th in the Temple in Hakuba, Nagano. The Buddhist rite ceremony was so quite rare however solemn, amazing and it was kind of new experience for most people, I figure.

The bride was so beautiful; she wore a white traditional Kimono as a Hanayome (bride). The bridegroom looked very happy to married with Aya. He also wore a traditional Kamishimo like a Samurai, so cool.

They organized a lovely wedding party in front of Olympic Ski Jump. After seeing nice scenery from top of the Ski Jump, the party started. Some people enjoyed slipping by plastic plates from K point. After some toasts, we enjoyed dancing, drinking Sake and Presley’s imitation show. Fortunately, guests could kiss on the cheeks with the bride or bridegroom, during one of them was in rest room there was kissing time, and is it a traditional game?

Next day, they organized a Hash Run as recovery running (from drinking?). We were Hash Run virgin, it was a very fun running event. In Hash Run, not only run fast but also need to find the flour sign to the next way. For example, if lose the sign under the bridge, but a way keep going on the bridge. If the sign disappears in front of the church, just search around there, then can find the flour sign obviously, Hash Run is like this, find and follow flour sign, anyway.

As the sign, Shoji-san disappeared from us, so we looked for him in running course, eventually he came back by himself after a couple of hours. He said just couldn’t find the sign, so quite Hash Run and climbed the mountain and enjoyed trail run...

After that, the bride and the bridegroom were leaving for hike for 2 nights 3 days with 2 guests! What a tough couple, they are!!!Anyway, we enjoyed Aya’s wedding completely, wish their happiness in new life.
